Coactive Education began with a mission to transform learning by fostering collaboration, creativity, and community engagement. 

The journey started in 2010 when the founder, Del Costello who has a  background in teaching, curriculum design, and technology, recognised the need for an approach that blended active learning with research and cutting-edge tools. She envisioned a model where educational experts, students, teachers, and communities could co-create educational experiences tailored to deal with real-world challenges. The name “Coactive” symbolises this synergy—cooperation and action coming together to inspire meaningful learning.

Initially, Coactive Education focused on developing workshops and providing professional learning for schools using evidence based practices. These approaches quickly gained traction, and the team expanded its offerings to include teacher training, digital resources, and custom curriculum design.

By partnering with the Ministry of Education, other educational organisations, education experts, Kāhui Ako, schools, the ECE sector, businesses, and community organisations, Coactive Education has created a network of strong relationships that support quality practice and student achievement. Today, Coactive Education continues to innovate, bridging gaps in education and fostering a culture of lifelong learning worldwide.
