Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer
Your Role
You’ll be responsible for bringing Coactive Education’s brand to life through engaging content and strategic marketing efforts. Reporting to our Design Lead, you'll contribute to both digital marketing and graphic design projects, ensuring our messages reach and resonate with our audience.
What We're Looking For-
A background in graphic design (ideally a degree or 1- 2 years of relevant experience) with an interest in digital marketing.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and experience with Wix Studio

A strong understanding or interest in the NZ education system.

Cultural capability: Respect for and knowledge of Te Ao Māori, language diversity, and equity is essential. A base level of Te Reo Māori would be a strong advantage.

A creative, quick-thinking, and adaptable approach to work.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, while also collaborating within a team.

Someone happy to travel out of Auckland for content gathering on occasion

Someone police-vetted, as we will be working in schools on occasion

Early Childhood Expert
PLD FacilitatorYour Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering professional learning and development (PLD) for early childhood education centres across Auckland and Waikato. As a contracted facilitator with Coactive Education, you will guide kaiako and leaders in strengthening their practice through engaging, research-based learning experiences. You’ll support centres to build capability in areas such as Kōwhiti Whakapae, Te Whāriki, and early literacy, ensuring that every tamaiti has the best start to their learning journey.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference—walking alongside leaders and educators to uplift practice, strengthen leadership, and create meaningful impact in the lives of tamariki and their whānau.
What We’re Looking For-
Deep knowledge of the early childhood education sector in Aotearoa, with expertise in Te Whāriki, Kōwhiti Whakapae, and early literacy.

Proven leadership experience in ECE, with an understanding of the day-to-day challenges of managing a centre.

Strong facilitation and mentoring skills—able to engage, inspire, and support kaiako and leaders.

Cultural capability: respect for and knowledge of Te Ao Māori, language diversity, and equity is essential. A base level of Te Reo Māori would be a strong advantage.

A reflective, empathetic, and relational approach to working with people.

Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and meet contractual obligations.

Structured Literacy Expert
PLD FacilitatorYour Role
You’ll be part of Coactive Education’s GROW Literacy kaupapa, delivering professional learning and development (PLD) in Structured Literacy to schools across Aotearoa. On a contract basis, you’ll walk alongside leaders and kaiako to strengthen their understanding of evidence-based literacy practices, supporting them to build capacity, shift practice, and improve outcomes for all ākonga.
This role is about more than delivering workshops—it’s about building relationships, mentoring educators, and championing approaches that make a tangible difference in classrooms and communities.
What We’re Looking For-
Deep knowledge of Structured Literacy and its application in Aotearoa schools.

Familiarity with Grow Literacy or similar approaches to structured, evidence-based reading and writing instruction.

Teaching and/or leadership experience in schools, with a proven ability to engage teachers and leaders in professional learning.

Strong facilitation skills: able to present clearly, inspire confidence, and guide teams through change.

Cultural capability: respect for and knowledge of Te Ao Māori, language diversity, and equity is essential. A base level of Te Reo Māori would be a strong advantage.

A collaborative, reflective approach and genuine commitment to improving literacy outcomes.

Ability to travel as needed to deliver PLD (primarily in Auckland and Waikato, with potential for wider delivery).
