About the event
This workshop explores the foundational role of strong, authentic relationships between whānau and kaiako in supporting tamariki wellbeing and learning. Grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Whāriki, participants will deepen their understanding of partnership, communication, and cultural responsiveness to foster meaningful collaboration and trust.

Methods of supporting oral language and early literacy at home.
Leverage linguistic diversity everyday.
Learn why partnerships matter.
Understand the importance of whānau-kaiako partnerships in early childhood education and how they align with Ministry of Education frameworks.
