An accredited member of our facilitation team will run a whole staff meeting outlining the basics of SLA, the Science of Learning and answering questions.

We run an online PLD session with your staff, going deep into Oral Language and it's role in the SLA classroom.

3. 2 Days of In-class Support and Modelling
An experienced facilitator comes in to work with each of your team, providing real-time feedback, strategies for scaffolding and steps for improvement.

4. 2-Hour Planning and Evaluation meeting with Principal
or Literacy Lead
Our leadership and evaluation expert comes in to help you plan, execute and measure your SLA embedding.

5. 3 x 1 hour Online Teacher Aide Workshops
We'll run a series of online workshops for your teacher aides: focussing on small group reading, small group writing and how to support tamariki in an SLA classroom.

6. Evaluation and Impact Review
We'll help you undertake an evaluation and impact review, leveraging our team of evaluation experts - we can measure the effectiveness of your whole-school approach.

Long Term Literacy Impact
We understand that creating sustainable, school-wide change takes more than a programme or a short PLD experience: there’s no silver bullet.
If your school is completing its Ministry-funded PLD and you're ready to extend, embed, and evaluate its impact, let’s talk about Long Term Literacy Impact (Ltl).
Our offerings are designed to meet schools where they are. We recognise that different teams within a school may be at different stages in their literacy improvement journey. Some just beginning to explore, others refining established practices. With a Long Term Literacy plan, we'll ensure that your whole school's Literacy approach is designed to impact and improve student achievement in a long term, sustainable way. Our flexible suite of support allows teams to engage in the way that best fits their current needs and goals.

Design a bespoke PLD solution that works for your school,
no matter where you are on your Structured Literacy journey
