Early Phonics – Learning the Alphabet

What can I expect?

Are you running transition-to-school programmes and/or want training on how to teach children the sounds and letters of the alphabet? In this course, you will learn, with modelled lessons, lesson practices, and teaching videos, how to teach the alphabet sounds, and reading and writing the letters too. A fun, practical course with lots of tips and free downloads.

As one of NZ's foremost trainer of teachers and teacher aides, I also assist in learning about phonics, word recognition, and early literacy teaching.

As a still practicing and fully registered teacher, my methods are solidly grounded in the practicalities and realities of daily classroom teaching.
