Health & Safety - Navigating Serious Incidents

Gain practical skills to create a safe and responsive learning environment, minimise risks, and provide immediate support to children during and after incidents. The session will also unpack how to build strong, collaborative relationships with key agencies such as the Ministry of Education, WorkSafe, and Oranga Tamariki. You’ll develop a clear understanding of the legal requirements around notifying agencies in the case of serious injury, illness, or concerning incidents. The workshop also builds confidence in your reporting and documentation skills, ensuring compliance with regulation HS34.
