About the event
This in-person ECE PLD workshop explores how mathematical concepts are embedded in children’s everyday experiences and play. Participants will learn to recognise and nurture early mathematical thinking, with a focus on the four sub-areas: Space & Measurement, Number & Measurement, Pattern & Relationships, and Create & Communicate Maths. The session highlights practical ways to integrate maths into daily routines, supporting exploration and aligning mathematical learning with the strands and goals of Te Whāriki.
