What can I expect?

In this interactive and practical workshop, participants will unpack the power of oral story telling to support oral language and communication development, tamariki confidence, whānau connection and a  sense of belonging.

What are the learning outcomes?

  • Why story telling is so impactful?
  • How to be a great storyteller.
  • How to plan for quality integration of storytelling and to make authentic local connections.

Early Childhood Kaiako, team leaders and centre managers

Who is the workshop facilitator?

Del works with leaders,  individuals and teams in schools, ECE and Kāhui Ako where she facilitates the development of sustainable professional learning communities and improve outcomes for learners. She is proud to be the Founder and Director of Coactive Education, which provides a suite of services to Aotearoa's education sector.
