About the event

This is an in-person workshop funded by the MoE SELO Auckland SSW team for the Papakura/Franklin Cohort.


In this workshop, we will dive deeper into child literacy and explore how we can support tamariki to be ready for their first school years. We'll also unpack the new MoE resource Kōwhiti Whakapae and how we integrate this framework everyday.  Learn practical strategies based on the Science of Learning, that support young readers and writers. Learn about a structured literacy classroom and how to start tamariki off on the right track on their literacy journey.
