About the Workshop

This interactive ECE PLD workshop explores how mathematical concepts are embedded in children’s everyday experiences and play. Participants will learn to recognise and nurture early mathematical thinking, with a focus on the four sub-areas: Space & Measurement, Number & Measurement, Pattern & Relationships, and Create & Communicate Maths. The session highlights practical ways to integrate maths into daily routines, supporting exploration and aligning mathematical learning with the strands and goals of Te Whāriki.
