Early Literacy Practices In this interactive and practical workshop, participants will explore the three key elements of early literacy: oral language, early phonemic awareness, and print knowledge and preparation for writing. Discover practical ways to engage tamariki with these important foundational literacy skills through meaningful, child-led learning experiences. Learning Outcomes - Understand the elements of early literacy and what they look like in an ECE setting. - Learn how to plan for early literacy within a tamariki-led learning environment. - Develop confidence in observing and noticing early literacy development.
