The oral language of our tamariki needs some serious support.

One in five Kiwi kids will arrive at school this year with poor oral-language skills, and quarter of our teachers report they lack confidence assessing and reporting oral-language progress, and 24% are not confident identifying difficulties. (Reported by ERO in 2024 as part of the Let's Get Talking Report)
